Holiday Treats Styled by Sarah {Part One}

One of my favorite things about the holiday season is the parties! There’s just something about being surrounded by the people that you love, getting all dolled up, and eating yummy food. This weekend I was super busy traveling all over the place! I spent both Saturday and Sunday at holiday parties and I loved every second of it. So, this week I will be doing my first foodie posts as I share with you the yummy treats that I made for these parties! One thing that many people may not know about me is that I love to cook and bake. I love to search for new recipes on Pinterest and be as creative as I can when I cook.

For part one, I’ll be sharing the two recipes that I made for my cousin’s Cookie Swap party. I love this tradition that my cousin started a few years back. I think that Cookie Swap parties are so fun and give you a reason to be creative and try new recipes. This year I didn’t have much time to prep for this party (legit had under an hour to make these cookies…) so these cookies don’t represent my best work but let me tell you they were still very yummy!

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Peanut Butter Cookies: My dad was obsessed with these. He made me make a ton of these cookies. Since I didn’t have much time I used the Betty Crocker Peanut Butter Cookie Mix and instead of using a mini muffin pan I used the regular size muffin pan.

Turtle Ritz Cookies: If you love the salty-sweet combo then you will love these cookies, I promise! I love that they’re a good no-bake option and I think that they would be easy to make with little kiddos. I made these with both caramel and peanut butter filling. For the caramel ones, I used the caramel from a jar and then topped them with the Heath English Toffee Bits. Then, for the peanut butter filled ones, I used crushed Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups for the topping.

Do you have any yummy cookie recipes? Do you take part in a Cookie Swap around the holidays? I hope you enjoyed this post and feel free to comment below. Keep an eye out for part two, which should be up later this week!

XOXO ~
