Sherpa Series Styled by Sarah {Part 2}

Now it’s time to explore the nontraditional (more fun) sherpa options! In part one (which you can view here or by scrolling down) I talked about the popular Sherpa Pullover and gave you plenty of options in case you were looking to buy one for yourself! In this post, I’m going to warn you, I’ll be all over the place from slippers to vests to jackets to pajamas.

Vests: I am obsessed with my sherpa vest! It’s SO versatile. I can dress it up with a dress or a pair of leather leggings or I can dress it down with jeans and a cotton tee (like I did at Maine Day which you can see by scrolling down to the end!). Sadly, I bought mine at a cute children’s boutique (yes, children’s! I shop in the kid’s section probably too often, oops!) in Chatham on the Cape for under $40.  I love this Oversized Sherpa Vest with a Hood ($20) from Amazon because it’s different than the one that I already have and it has pockets (all the heart eyes for pockets). There’s also this option from DSW (who knew they sold cute vests?!).

Cardigans: Okay now, who else loves a good, comfy, warm cardigan?! I am loving the fact that Old Navy caught on to this trend and has this Open-Front Sherpa Cardi. Amazon also has many stylish sherpa cardigans like this one here, and this one here, and omg this one here too (so obsessed with this last one)!

Zip-up Jackets: So I didn’t include these with the pullover post (even though I think they’re similar) because there were way too many pullovers to feature. However, I had to mention this amazing $25 (on sale!) FILA jacket from Kohl’s because I think it’s awesome (and if you have a Kohl’s near you this is a good option to look for in the store if you prefer to try things on)!

Pajamas: This Sherpa Sleep Onesie from Hollister is everything! I mean who wouldn’t want this?! It’s like being wrapped up from head to toe in a big fuzzy blanket. Also, if you have a little one on your Christmas list then this $13 Carter’s Hooded Sherpa Jumpsuit from Amazon is perfect. It would come in time for Christmas and it’s honestly just the cutest (& such a great deal for $13!!). This sherpa jumpsuit really makes me wish I had a little one to buy for this Christmas!

Slippers: You can find me with my sherpa pullover and my sherpa slippers (I don’t actually have sherpa slippers yet but a girl can dream right!). I love a good pair of slippers. I have Raynaud’s Syndrome, which is a circulatory condition, so my hands and feet can become numb and cold very easily. Therefore, in the winter I live in my slippers. I put a cute pair of sherpa slippers from Pottery Barn ($12) in the widget below and there’s also these Adorable Bunny Sherpa Slippers from Amazon (fun fact: my nickname is Hoppy so obviously I really like these!).

There are SO many options beyond those that I posted above when it comes to sherpas. Don’t be afraid to be different or buy something just because you think it looks comfy! Sherpas are definitely a great way to add comfort into your wardrobe! Do you have a favorite sherpa trend/piece for this winter? If so, please share in the comments! I’d love to check it out.

XOXO ~

(Legit wearing the same shirt that G is wearing under my vest and I got sooo many compliments this day. I’m telling you a sherpa vest/cardigan is such a good investiment!)
