Sherpa Series Styled by Sarah {Part 1}

Over the past two years, sherpas have gained A LOT of popularity. Since I love mine so much, and Sherpa season is here, I figured I should do a post on them! I’m starting out this two post series (look out for the next post next week) with the more traditional option: the big, oversized, comfy pullover. I think that these sherpas are somewhat comparable to the Patagonia Re-Tool or Pile fleece pullovers that have been around for awhile (but on steroids). If you want to feel like you are wrapped up in a blanket 24/7 then you NEED one of these and if you keep your thermostat below 65 degrees in the winter then you NEED one of these. It’s definitely by far the comfiest thing that I own. I bought mine this past fall at Goodwill for around $7 but I have listed plenty of options below. P.S. if you’re still looking for holiday gifts, this is a great option  (especially b/c sizing isn’t that important so it’s easy to buy online!).

The Southern Marsh Appalachian Pile Sherpa Pullover is the one that resembles mine the most I think. It’s featured on their website and also on their Amazon store here.

I hadn’t heard of The Pink Lily Boutique before writing this post but they have some good affordable options (around $48) and sherpas for kids too (so you can be twinning with your fav little one)! They also have free standard shipping for the rest of the year for those of you who hate paying for shipping like I do.

Speaking of free shipping…For all of you Amazon Prime members (or non-Prime memebers as well) here are some great Amazon options: this one ($22) is my favorite option if style is your number 1 priority (it’s so fabulous & it’s on my wishlist), this one ($20 – $26) dips down in the back and the grayish blue color is ah-mazing, this one (on sale for $27) probably isn’t the warmest option but it’s so stylish and the dark pink color is great, this one ($23 – $25) has the cute patch on the side but doesn’t have many customer images/many reviews, and here’s a great option for your favorite guy!

Abercrombie & Fitch: My roommate and her sister recently ordered the A&F sherpa! The pockets on the front of this are adorable and they have a lot of colors to choose from. The only thing that my roommate mentioned was that the white one wasn’t so flattering.

Along with the Amazon options, Kohl’s actually have a really cute and affordable Sherpa ($20 on sale)!

Country Club Prep has a bunch of good sherpa options for both him & her. They start at around $70.

L.L. Bean has this Signature Sherpa Tunic that is a little bit less boxier and a little more slimming/elongating than most. And, omg it just looks so comfy!

Monogrammed Sherpas are adorable. Marleylilly (my favorite is definitely the tan with caramel plaid) along with Etsy have a bunch of great options. The Etsy options do tend to be cheaper for the most part (starting at $24, say what!)

Well, this concludes my first Sherpa post. Part 2 will be up on the blog towards the end of next week! Do you have any favorite Sherpas? Where did you buy yours?

Shop these additional sherpas by clicking on them. Some of these I featured above as well!

XOXO ~
