Planning for 2018 Styled by Sarah

So remember how I did that planner post back in early December? Yeah, well, it honestly still took me until this past weekend to finally buy myself a planner. Now I am officially ready to ring in the new year. I finally feel like I can start planning for 2018! I’ll start this post off with a quick little life update then tell you all about my new planner.

Life update: My goal is to really be myself on this blog so I think it’s important to throw in some life updates every once in a while to keep it real! This week, I moved back to Boston after being home for three weeks for winter break. Yesterday, I started my last academic semester of college!!! It will take me a little while to get used to my new class schedule but I am beyond excited (and very motivated) to complete my last semester of classes before going on rotations in May. The snow situation here in Boston is horrible and I’m kind of dreading walking to school every day but I’m excited to get into a new routine and to stay on top of my classes!

My New Planner: Does anyone else get shoppers anxiety when it comes to picking out a planner?! I really get stressed about buying a new planner because I know I’ll be stuck with it for a year or more (and there’s no going back). I perused the planner section in Marshalls for over 20 minutes trying to decide which one to buy (after already spending a good 6 hours or so searching online). I really liked my old Lilly Pulitzer planner and I found a bunch of cute, affordable ones online but my gut was telling me to go look in person at Marshalls (and man, am I glad that I did!). Marshalls has so many trendy planners in many different sizes at many different price points ($4 – $18). I really wanted to splurge and treat myself to one of the adorable Kate Spade agendas that they carried but opted for the more affordable option as I am a poor college student! The Marshalls that I was shopping at carried these three Kate Spade agendas:

My planner is from the company Eccolo. I hadn’t really heard of them before but they have a bunch of cute planners, notebooks, pencil cases, and other stationary items. Amazon carries Eccolo, including my specific agenda (not the specific size that I have though, this is the travel size agenda!) for $10. They had these two Eccolo planners at Marshalls as well: Gold Bow Planner from Amazon ($9.50) and Dreams in Progress Planner from Amazon ($9.50). I’m also loving these Eccolo products that Amazon carries: Set of Three Journals ($8.88; I think that these would make a great gift), Large 2018 Let’s Crush This Agenda ($12), and this $12 Marble Passport Case (I really think that I need this because it matches my planner!). Also, I wanted to mention this little fun fact: Yesterday, on Instagram, I saw that Camille Kostek (She’s an inspiring boss babe, past Patriots cheerleader, and on/off girlfriend to Pats player Gronk) also happens to have the same planner as me now!!!

If you have any questions about the Eccolo planners, or planners in general, feel free to ask me! I’m kind of obsessed with them! If you need any more ideas/links for 2018 planners then check out the post that I did a few weeks ago here or message me, I’d love to help you!

XOXO ~
