Ciaté London Review Styled by Sarah

Today I’m inviting you to get ready with me and my new Ciaté London products! This fall I was sent these three complementary products in order to test and review them and let me tell you I’m obsessed! I wanted to use them for a while before I reviewed them so I’ve had them for over a month now. I also figured that this would be a good time to share my thoughts because I know many of you may have received Sephora gift cards for X-mas. I’ll break down what I like and don’t like about each product and include links below.

Ciaté London is Peta certified and all of their products are cruelty-free. They do a really good job of trying to create vegan products and indicate when that is applicable. You can find their products online or at Sephora!

Dewy Stix: This, by far, is my favorite of the three products. I fell in love with this highlighter stick instantly. At the time that I received this package, I was actually looking for a new highlighter. I’m honestly not a huge fan of powder highlighters because I feel that the liquid based highlighters work better with my dry skin. This balm kind of feels like putting lip balm on your face and let me tell you in the winter with my dry-as-a-desert skin that’s exactly what I want to do. This highlighter isn’t super glittery, it’s more of a natural shimmer with a rose gold tint. It’s pretty pigmented so I usually only have to do one swipe over an area. It lasts for a while and I don’t worry about it coming off. I’m also very happy with this product because I use this daily and I still have plenty left (definitely a great value!). They suggest using a powder highlighter over the balm for a more intense, dramatic look (I think that’s a great idea for those of you who are going for that super glowy look) but I don’t think that you would need to do that for normal daily wear.

Wonderwand Intensely Volumizing Mascara (from Amazon): So they only sent me the trial size mascara and I’m really considering buying it in the full size. I use this mascara almost every day and still haven’t run out of the trial size but I’m thinking ahead. I’m really impressed with how well this mascara works. It both lengthens and volumizes with minimal clumps which is what I’m always looking for in a mascara. I do about 4 coats and I don’t have to use any other mascara with it. The brush that comes with this is great (even though I usually prefer a curved brush like The Falsies brush). I honestly prefer this mascara to Better Than Sex because it feels more natural, is less clumpy, and comes off easier/smoother when I go to remove it. Also, if you didn’t notice this before, in the pictures above, I’m only wearing the mascara on one side so that I could show you girls a comparison from a few different angles.

Fierce Flicks Precision Tip Liquid Liner: I honestly don’t usually wear black liquid liner most days but I really do like this product compared to the other ones that I’ve used. The tip on this product makes it really easy to apply. The color is super black and is great for creating a dramatic cat eye. So many people say that it’s smudge-proof however I don’t think that that’s 100% true but it does do a great job maintaining it’s vibrancy and color. Like the other two products, it seems like it will last me a long time so I’m happy with that.

Overall, I was really impressed with these products. It was my first time trying Ciate products (I discovered that you can also buy them on Amazon which is great news for Prime members) and I’m now a huge fan! If you end up buying any of these products or already use Ciaté products I’d love to hear what you think of them (feel free to comment below). I hope you enjoyed my first beauty post. I look forward to doing more of these in the future!

XOXO ~
