First off, Happy Internation Women’s Day girlies!!! I am having so much fun on Spring Break…probably too much fun, like I kind of think I need a vaca from vacation. However, I’m so so happy to be reunited with my sister and we’re trying to cram a lot in during these 5 days. It’s hard for us to go so long without seeing each other. We were legit those sisters who opted to share a room even when we were in high school and had two extra bedrooms in our house. Lea and I definitely have our differences and own strong beliefs but at the end of the day, I don’t think anyone (other than our parents) knows us better than each other. We have always loved doing things together and always will. She keeps me on my toes and I keep her grounded.
So, since I’m down here visiting her {and b/c it’s International Women’s Day} I thought it would be the perfect time to talk about one of my new favorite brands: We Are Andrex. If I haven’t made this clear yet I really love supporting and promoting small businesses with personable owners who are doing what they love for all the right reasons. The twin sisters at We Are Andrex meet that description perfectly. Andrea and Alex run a local handmade jewelry shop in Miami, Florida and create their jewelry to promote friendship, vibrancy, and celebration of life. They strongly believe in the importance of adventuring with the ones that you love and spending time making memories with your sister/twin/best friend. They are also pretty much the epitome of boss babes!
One of my favorite things about their company is that they strongly believe in giving back. The sisters made a promise to donate 10% of the proceeds from their bracelets directly to The Friendship Foundation. The foundation’s mission is to “provide socially integrated programs to empower individuals with developmental disabilities to build friendship, independence, and live purposeful lives as active members of their communities”.
