Spring Break Outfits Styled by Sarah

Boohoo Petit Romper  |  ASOS.com  |  $13  |  Size 2

Eek I am so excited to write this post for you girls! This is almost my favorite topic to talk about (bathing suits ~coming next week~ is definitely my favorite). I just love summer fashion & trends! I’ve broken the post down into different outfit types. Then, within each category, I added in Amazon and Lulus.com links in text (because I’m an associate for both of those companies, meaning that if you make a purchase on their website after clicking my link I do get a tiny percent of the proceeds) with additional shoppable, clickable images for other retailers like Revolve, American Eagle, Forever 21, ASOS, Nordstrom, etc.

Spring break trends that I’m loving: Off-the-shoulder looks, floral prints (mostly in pastels), stripes, fun pants, oversized/bell sleeves, and floral embroidery.

Spring break trends that I’m kind of over but still love: Denim, palm designs, and gingham.

Jumpsuits and Rompers: I’m such a sucker for rompers & jumpsuits. They’re so easy to wear and you don’t have to worry about accidentally exposing yourself (hehe I hate wearing a dress on a windy day…)! Amazon has so many good options to choose from like this $12 Striped Romper, this $10 Long Sleeve Leaf Print Romper, and this $15 Floral Print Romper. Lulus also has many cute jumpers and rompers like this striped one and this blue & white one!

Romper Dress: I’m a huge fan of both a maxi dress & a romper so I love the idea of combining the two. Again, this outfit is a little bit more comfortable for most than a dress because you don’t have to worry about the dress flying up or anything crazy like that.

Two-Piece Sets: The two-piece set is definitely my favorite trend right. It’s so easy to pick out an outfit when you have a two-piece set and the best part is you can mix & match. I actually just got an email from Lulus promoting their two-piece dresses. One of my favorites is this Chambray Dress Set and I’m also totally crushing on this Floral Blush Dress Set. Amazon also has some good options like this $15 Striped Two Piece Set and this $15 Halter Crop Top Two Piece Set.

Fun Pants: I want to try out this trend so badly. Hopefully I’ll actually grab myself a pair for spring break or for spring in general! Bow belts, slits on the sides of the legs, fun prints and colors, along with wide legs are things that make these pants awesome. There are a ton of fun pants on Lulus. I love these Mauve Wide-leg pants along with these Blue & White Cuolottes, which also happen to be a part of a two-piece set!

Overalls: Overalls have definitely been making a come back lately. I don’t think you’ll ever see me working them but I’m still a fan of the trend because it brings me right back to my Tweety Bird overall dress and my OshKosh B’gosh overalls from 1999. I think that these would be easier to wear over spring break because there are really cute short overalls and I really just can’t picture throwing on a winter jacket over overalls. Lulus has some very cute overalls on their site. My favorite would have to be these Distressed Free People Short Overalls but these Traditional Overalls are really cute too (I really liked them with the hem rolled).

So there are a bunch of other trends and outfits that I have my eyes on for spring break but I hope you enjoyed a little taste of some of my favorite spring break outfit ideas!

XOXO ~
