Anddd just like that we now have less than a month until Valentine’s Day!! Time to start planning because we all know it will sneak up on us. Next week I’ll do a gift guide post full of thoughtful gift ideas for him & her but this week I’m so excited to share the watch that I’ll be giving my boyfriend Greg on February 14th! I’m honestly in love with JORD wooden watches. I’m a big fan of personalized and unique gifts so this watch was a no-brainer. The watch itself is made out of natural wood and has the option to be engraved on the caseback or on the watch box! Other than using a really unique material, one thing that sets JORD apart is their attention to detail. The way that they present and package the watch is ah-mazing. They offer free shipping on all orders and it took the watch like NO time to get to me. It comes in a beautifully finished wooden box that features a “utility drawer” where you can store the maintenance products that they give you (how fancy!). The watch itself and the box both have this wonderful “wood scent” that reminds me of my grandmother’s cedar closet.
In order to keep your watch looking brand new all of the time, JORD provides you with finishing oil, a microfiber polishing cloth, and a suede cloth. Additionally, it comes with instructions on how to clean the watch and they suggest doing this every 6 months. JORD also understands that sizing is important so they offer to size it for $10 or send you a $50 gift card if you decide to get the watch sized locally (a good idea if you’re giving it as a gift & don’t know the correct size).
